Sunshine, fresh air, and plenty of whiskey.

I think the new guy's starting to get the hang of things. I even got a few laughs out of him today. He found a new motto, too: “Sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whiskey, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind but falling in love and not getting arrested.” ~Hunter S. Thompson

We sampled excellent whiskey, toured the distillery, and even got to be on the bottling crew!

Smoked whiskey burger with bacon?! Melt in your mouth divine. Guess who ordered theirs without veggies?🙄

I have a new favorite drink - the South by Southwest – prickly pear juice, supremo whiskey, bitters garnished with an orange slice, and …wait for it …a bacon straw! YUM! We have a thing for bacon in our household.

Mr. Bah-Hum-Bug liked the White Boulevardier. He's adorable when he's grumpy, though.😚

Our bartender was funny, handsome, and incredibly charming. I snapped this picture while someone was in the bathroom. Marcus even gave us a tip about a tree-lighting festival that's happening tomorrow not far from here. Hopefully, I can talk Mr. Someone into going.🤷🏻‍♀️😁

We also made some new friends!
